Let's celebrate and be social!

Digbeth Social Enterprise Quarter are celebrating their 2nd anniversary, hosting a Christmas Networking Event only in a couple of weeks!

The University is proud of its links to the Digbeth Social Enterprise Quarter, where a large number of our students have found rewarding employment and have supported its businesses through consultancy projects, finding viable solutions to a range of complex challenges.

Did you know that since its conception in 2013, there are now over 50 social enterprises based in the Digbeth quarter (not far - close to New Street Station) "dedicated to using business for social good"?

It's about:

  • DISCOVERY
  • OPPORTUNITIES
  • IDEAS

This is a perfect event if you're the type of person who puts others before themselves. Your personal values may be community; cop-operation; empathy and a drive to make a positive difference.

This is an opportunity for you.

  • It could be a job or work experience if you speak to the founders.
  • It could be to listening to others, triggering ideas and opportunities to start your own business
  • It could be to learn more about the social enterprise sector for a dissertation project
  • It could be whatever you want it to be....
The event is taking place on
Tuesday 15th December 2015 10.30am – 12.30pm
iSE, Avoca Court, 23 Moseley Road, Digbeth, Birmingham B12 0HJ

To book your place: info@digbethsocentquarter.co.uk

To find more social enterprise across our campus, let our students explain about our societies and clubs.
